tapja

tapja for bowling & pool

Friday night runs itself. Tuesday does not.

Bowling centres earn at the weekend and wait during the week. A card in the wallet gives your guests a reason to come on a Tuesday too, with no app for your guests.

Sound familiar?

From frustration to fix.

Midweek the lanes stand still.

An offer with its own run time shifts visits into them.

Company parties come once a year and never again.

The card keeps the contact until the next party.

Nobody maintains the paper cards behind the bar.

The balance sits in the wallet and updates itself.

How it works

Up and running in three steps.

  1. Design the card

Pick a card type, set your logo and colors, define the reward rule, for example "10 lane hours, the 11th free.". The live preview shows instantly how the card looks in the wallet.

  2. Onboard customers

The customer scans the QR code at the counter and adds the card to their wallet with one tap. Done, no app for your guests.

  3. Collect & reward

One tap is all it takes: the balance updates automatically on the card, and when a reward is reached a wallet notification lands on the phone.

A day with tapja

How it feels in everyday life.

A group plays two lane hours on a Saturday. Paying up, one of them scans the QR code on the table stand and the card lands in the wallet, with no app of their own. Your team stamps the two hours in the staff app. In November Tuesdays are dead, so you send "Tuesday: second lane hour free" to everyone away for more than a month. The group moves its games night. On the tenth stamp the eleventh hour is on the house, redeemed right at the counter.

Common questions about tapja for bowling & pool halls.

Question not listed?
Write to us, a person will answer.

A stamp per lane or per person?
Usually per paid lane hour, on the card of whoever pays. You can also give every player holding a card a stamp. That is worth it if you want the whole group back, not just one of them.
We do a lot of company parties. Is there anything in it?
Yes, because the organiser otherwise disappears after the party. Give her the card on the night itself; the following year you reach her in good time before the Christmas party, instead of hoping she calls.
How do I fill the empty weekdays?
With a benefits card: you create a benefit, give it a run time from Monday to Thursday, a quota and a limit per guest. It collects nothing, it carries redeemable benefits. The benefits card belongs to the larger plan.
Do I need a POS system for this?
No. tapja runs independently on a phone or tablet you already own, or with no installation at all, right in the browser at the counter. Nothing changes on your lane control.
What if someone loses the card?
The card lives in Apple or Google Wallet and cannot be misplaced. If the phone is lost, the card is back on the new device after signing in, stamp balance included.
Do my customers need an app?
No. The card lives right in Apple or Google Wallet. Both are already on the phone. No download, no login for your customers.
How does the card get onto the phone?
Via the QR code on the counter stand: scan once, "Add to Wallet," done. The card is on the phone in seconds.
Is it GDPR-compliant?
Yes, GDPR by design: data minimisation, servers in the EU and a separate marketing consent. From your guests you need a name and an email, nothing more.
