Sound familiar?

From frustration to fix.

Groups play once and never return.

A card in the wallet reminds them of the rooms they have not cracked yet.

Weekdays sit empty while weekends are packed.

An offer for Tuesday to Thursday shifts the demand.

Bookings run through a portal, so you never meet your guests.

Everyone who takes the card appears in your overview by name.

How it works

Up and running in three steps.

  1. Design the card

Pick a card type, set your logo and colors, define the reward rule, for example "One point per room played, the fifth at half price.". The live preview shows instantly how the card looks in the wallet.

  2. Onboard customers

The customer scans the QR code at the counter and adds the card to their wallet with one tap. Done, no app for your guests.

  3. Collect & reward

One tap is all it takes: the balance updates automatically on the card, and when a reward is reached a wallet notification lands on the phone.

Example program

What your escape rooms program could look like.

One point per room played, the fifth at half price.

A points card for the wallet that counts how many of your rooms a group has cracked. Plus a benefits card for the quiet weekdays.

New in tapja

Four things that take work off your hands.

  • Self-stamping at a stand from Favourite Spot

Guests collect the stamp themselves at a QR or NFC stand when nobody at the counter has a second.

  • Guests refer guests All plans

Your regulars share a personal code. Once the new guest actually visits, both get a bonus. Switch it on when you want to.

  • Live view All plans

See what is happening at the counter today, in the dashboard and in the app: stamps, redemptions and new cards, updated as you watch.

  • Milestone rewards All plans

A free croissant after five stamps, the coffee after ten: up to five rewards on one card keep guests motivated along the way.

GDPR No app for your guests, GDPR-compliant, servers in the EU.

A day with tapja

How it feels in everyday life.

A group of four cracks your bank-heist room in high spirits. While the souvenir photo is taken, one of them scans the QR code at the counter and the card is in their wallet seconds later, with no app of their own. Your team taps the point for the room played in the staff app. Two months later you send "New room: The Lab" to everyone who knows two rooms already. The group books for the following Wednesday, because an offer is running that day. On the fifth room the card pulls the half price, and your team redeems it right at the counter.

Common questions about tapja for escape rooms.

Question not listed?
Write to us, a person will answer.

We book through a portal. Do I have to connect it?
No. tapja runs alongside it, not inside it. You hand out the card at reception or after the game, and counting happens in the staff app. You can start without anyone touching your booking system.
Does the point go to the person or the group?
That is up to you. Everyone holding a card can get a point, or only the person who booked. For groups it usually pays to give everyone a point: that is the reason the others come back along next time.
How do I fill the empty weekdays?
With a benefits card: you create a benefit, give it a run time from Tuesday to Thursday, a quota and a limit per guest. It counts nothing, it carries redeemable benefits. The benefits card belongs to the larger plan.
What about groups that come once a year?
That is exactly what the card in the wallet is built for: it cannot be misplaced, and the point balance stays put. Anyone away for a long time gets an automatic greeting once you switch the win-back automation on.
Is it worth it with only two rooms?
With two rooms the points card is tight, but the benefits card is strong: it is how you steer weekday occupancy. The free plan covers 30 active cards, so you can try it out first.
Do my customers need an app?
No. The card lives right in Apple or Google Wallet. Both are already on the phone. No download, no login for your customers.
How does the card get onto the phone?
Via the QR code on the counter stand: scan once, "Add to Wallet," done. The card is on the phone in seconds.
Is it GDPR-compliant?
Yes, GDPR by design: data minimisation, servers in the EU and a separate marketing consent. From your guests you need a name and an email, nothing more.
