tapja

tapja for laundromats & dry cleaners

The place next door is just as close. Give them a reason.

Laundromats and dry cleaners are interchangeable as long as nothing binds. A card in the wallet turns the nearest provider into yours, with no app for your guests.

Sound familiar?

From frustration to fix.

The place two streets away is just as good.

A stamp balance you cannot take with you keeps customers here.

Without permanent staff, card upkeep stops.

The balance updates itself on the wallet card.

Anyone who switches once never comes back.

A notice on the phone brings customers back before they switch.

How it works

Up and running in three steps.

  1. Design the card

Pick a card type, set your logo and colors, define the reward rule, for example "10 washes, the 11th free.". The live preview shows instantly how the card looks in the wallet.

  2. Onboard customers

The customer scans the QR code at the counter and adds the card to their wallet with one tap. Done, no app for your guests.

  3. Collect & reward

One tap is all it takes: the balance updates automatically on the card, and when a reward is reached a wallet notification lands on the phone.

New in tapja

Four things that take work off your hands.

  • Your logo as the stamp All plans

Instead of a tick, the card stamps your logo or a symbol from your trade: coffee bean, scissors, pretzel.

  • More Google reviews from Home Base

After a redeemed reward or a number of visits you choose, the card asks happy guests for a review and takes them straight to your Google profile.

  • Tax report for your accountant All plans

Every reward handed out lands in a list for your tax advisor automatically, ready to export whenever you need it.

  • Short link and QR code All plans

Your card as a short link for Instagram, a QR code for the counter, or sent straight to a guest by email.

GDPR No app for your guests, GDPR-compliant, servers in the EU.

A day with tapja

How it feels in everyday life.

A customer brings two shirts in on a Saturday. Handing them over, she scans the QR code at the counter and the card lands in the wallet, with no app of her own. Your team stamps in the staff app. Two weeks later the mornings are empty, so you send "Before noon: 20% on outerwear" to everyone away for more than three weeks. She drops in on the way to work. On the tenth stamp the eleventh order is on the house, redeemed right at the counter.

Common questions about tapja for laundromats & dry cleaners.

Question not listed?
Write to us, a person will answer.

Our laundromat is unstaffed. Who stamps then?
Then the guest stamps themselves: with self-stamping (from Favourite Spot) an NFC stand sits in the laundromat, the guest holds their phone to it, and every tap creates a one-time signed proof; a photo of the stand does not count. A limit such as one stamp per day prevents repeat stamps. In a dry cleaner with a counter your team stamps on every order, in the staff app or with no installation at all in the browser.
A stamp per wash or per visit?
Per order or per wash is the usual rule. Run three machines, get three stamps; most people find that fair, and it takes under two seconds at the counter.
Do I need a POS system for this?
No. tapja runs independently on a phone or tablet you already own, or with no installation at all, right in the browser at the counter. Nothing changes on your till or your machines.
What if someone loses the card?
The card lives in Apple or Google Wallet and cannot be misplaced. If the phone is lost, it is back on the new device after signing in, stamp balance included.
What does this cost a small business?
The free plan is free forever and covers up to 30 active cards, one programme and two staff accounts. Beyond that, Favourite Spot starts at €29 a month, cancellable monthly.
Do my customers need an app?
No. The card lives right in Apple or Google Wallet. Both are already on the phone. No download, no login for your customers.
How does the card get onto the phone?
Via the QR code on the counter stand: scan once, "Add to Wallet," done. The card is on the phone in seconds.
Is it GDPR-compliant?
Yes, GDPR by design: data minimisation, servers in the EU and a separate marketing consent. From your guests you need a name and an email, nothing more.
