tapja

tapja for massage & wellness

Once a year is lovely. Every six weeks is a business.

Massage is often given as a gift and rarely repeated. A card in the wallet turns the voucher appointment into a second, third and fourth visit, with no app for your guests.

Sound familiar?

From frustration to fix.

Voucher guests come once and never again.

They get the card when redeeming and stay reachable.

Months pass between two appointments with no contact.

The card stays in the wallet and a notice reaches them directly.

Mornings are hard to fill.

An offer with its own run time shifts appointments into them.

How it works

Up and running in three steps.

  1. Design the card

Pick a card type, set your logo and colors, define the reward rule, for example "A point per treatment, 30 free minutes at 8 points.". The live preview shows instantly how the card looks in the wallet.

  2. Onboard customers

The customer scans the QR code at the counter and adds the card to their wallet with one tap. Done, no app for your guests.

  3. Collect & reward

One tap is all it takes: the balance updates automatically on the card, and when a reward is reached a wallet notification lands on the phone.

Example program

What your massage & wellness studios program could look like.

A point per treatment, 30 free minutes at 8 points.

A points card for the wallet that counts treatments. Plus a morning offer and a greeting for anyone who has been away.

New in tapja

Four things that take work off your hands.

  • More Google reviews from Home Base

After a redeemed reward or a number of visits you choose, the card asks happy guests for a review and takes them straight to your Google profile.

  • Your logo as the stamp All plans

Instead of a tick, the card stamps your logo or a symbol from your trade: coffee bean, scissors, pretzel.

  • Guests refer guests All plans

Your regulars share a personal code. Once the new guest actually visits, both get a bonus. Switch it on when you want to.

  • Milestone rewards All plans

A free croissant after five stamps, the coffee after ten: up to five rewards on one card keep guests motivated along the way.

GDPR No app for your guests, GDPR-compliant, servers in the EU.

A day with tapja

How it feels in everyday life.

A guest redeems a gifted voucher for a back massage. Saying goodbye, he scans the QR code at the counter and the card lands in the wallet, with no app of his own and the first point already on it. Six weeks later nothing has happened, and the win-back message reminds him, and he books a Tuesday morning, for which an offer is running. After the eighth treatment the card pulls the 30 free minutes, redeemed right at the counter.

When does a stamp card start to pay off?

Two pages with the arithmetic: contribution margin per visit, monthly cost, and the number of extra visits at which the card pays for itself. In return for signing up to our emails; one click unsubscribes.

Common questions about tapja for massage & wellness studios.

Question not listed?
Write to us, a person will answer.

Does this work for physiotherapy?
This page is meant for wellness, sports and relaxation massage, that is, for privately paid services. Prescribed medical treatments come with their own advertising rules, worth clarifying with your professional body or legal adviser first.
We work a lot with vouchers. Does that fit?
Yes, and it closes exactly that gap: voucher guests are otherwise gone after the appointment. Hand out the card when they redeem, and the first point is already on it while the contact stays.
Points per treatment or per amount?
Per treatment is simpler and works on every plan. If there is a big difference between 30 and 90 minutes, you can also award by amount. That belongs to the larger plan (from Home Base).
Do I need a booking system for this?
No. tapja runs independently of your booking software, on a phone or tablet you already own, or with no installation at all, right in the browser at the counter.
What data do my guests have to give?
A name and an email, nothing more. The birthday is voluntary. tapja collects no health data; the card carries only the points balance and your reward rule.
Do my customers need an app?
No. The card lives right in Apple or Google Wallet. Both are already on the phone. No download, no login for your customers.
How does the card get onto the phone?
Via the QR code on the counter stand: scan once, "Add to Wallet," done. The card is on the phone in seconds.
Is it GDPR-compliant?
Yes, GDPR by design: data minimisation, servers in the EU and a separate marketing consent. From your guests you need a name and an email, nothing more.
