tapja

tapja for padel courts

The evening slots are gone. The mornings are not.

Padel is growing fast, but occupancy is lopsided. A card in the wallet rewards frequent players and pushes bookings into the off-peak hours, with no app for your guests.

Sound familiar?

From frustration to fix.

Evenings are packed, mornings the court sits empty.

An offer for the off-peak hours shifts the demand.

Booking runs through a third-party app, so you have no contact.

Everyone who takes the card appears in your overview by name.

Beginners try once and never stick.

A visible balance gives a reason for the second round.

How it works

Up and running in three steps.

  1. Design the card

Pick a card type, set your logo and colors, define the reward rule, for example "A point per court hour, a free hour at 20 points.". The live preview shows instantly how the card looks in the wallet.

  2. Onboard customers

The customer scans the QR code at the counter and adds the card to their wallet with one tap. Done, no app for your guests.

  3. Collect & reward

One tap is all it takes: the balance updates automatically on the card, and when a reward is reached a wallet notification lands on the phone.

Example program

What your padel courts program could look like.

A point per court hour, a free hour at 20 points.

A points card for the wallet that counts every court hour played. Plus a morning offer for the weak slots.

A day with tapja

How it feels in everyday life.

Four colleagues play on a Friday evening. Paying at the counter, one of them scans the QR code and the card lands in the wallet, with no app of their own. Your team books the point for the court hour in the staff app. In January the mornings are empty, so you send "Tuesday to Thursday before noon: court hour 30% off" to everyone above five points. Two of them work shifts and take it. At 20 points the card pulls the free hour, and your team redeems it at check-in.

When does a stamp card start to pay off?

Two pages with the arithmetic: contribution margin per visit, monthly cost, and the number of extra visits at which the card pays for itself. In return for signing up to our emails; one click unsubscribes.

Common questions about tapja for padel courts.

Question not listed?
Write to us, a person will answer.

We use a court booking system. Do I have to connect it?
No. tapja runs alongside it. Your team awards the point at check-in or when paying, in the staff app, or with no installation at all, right in the browser at the counter. You can start without anyone touching your booking system.
A point per court or per person?
Usually per person holding a card, because you want to keep the players, not the booking. With four on court all four get a point. That is the reason they turn up as a four again next time.
Is this a digital multi-visit pass?
Yes, with the package card (from the Home Base plan): your guests buy ten hours upfront at your counter, for example, and the card in their wallet counts down with every visit. Payment happens at your place; tapja processes no money and keeps no stored value, only the units. Alongside it, the loyalty card can count hours played and unlock a reward at a threshold.
What about members and subscription players?
The card runs alongside your contracts. Members collect points just like casual players; you can pick a reward that suits both groups. Contracts themselves are not managed through tapja.
Is it worth it with two courts?
Especially then, because every empty off-peak hour hurts directly. The free plan covers 30 active cards and costs nothing: try it on your regulars before you decide.
Do my customers need an app?
No. The card lives right in Apple or Google Wallet. Both are already on the phone. No download, no login for your customers.
How does the card get onto the phone?
Via the QR code on the counter stand: scan once, "Add to Wallet," done. The card is on the phone in seconds.
Is it GDPR-compliant?
Yes, GDPR by design: data minimisation, servers in the EU and a separate marketing consent. From your guests you need a name and an email, nothing more.
