tapja

tapja for spas & pools

Full in winter, empty in summer. Both can be steered.

Spas and pools have strong and dead periods, and little contact with guests in between. A card in the wallet rewards regulars and shifts visits into the free hours, with no app for your guests.

Sound familiar?

From frustration to fix.

Weekends are packed, mornings are deserted.

A morning offer shifts visits into the free hours.

In summer visits collapse.

A message to regulars fills the weak months too.

Months pass between two visits with no contact at all.

The card stays in the wallet and you stay reachable.

How it works

Up and running in three steps.

  1. Design the card

Pick a card type, set your logo and colors, define the reward rule, for example "A point per visit, three free hours at 12 points.". The live preview shows instantly how the card looks in the wallet.

  2. Onboard customers

The customer scans the QR code at the counter and adds the card to their wallet with one tap. Done, no app for your guests.

  3. Collect & reward

One tap is all it takes: the balance updates automatically on the card, and when a reward is reached a wallet notification lands on the phone.

Example program

What your thermal spas & swimming pools program could look like.

A point per visit, three free hours at 12 points.

A points card for the wallet for everyone without a season pass. Plus a morning offer for the weak hours.

New in tapja

Four things that take work off your hands.

  • Self-stamping at a stand from Favourite Spot

Guests collect the stamp themselves at a QR or NFC stand when nobody at the counter has a second.

  • Guests refer guests All plans

Your regulars share a personal code. Once the new guest actually visits, both get a bonus. Switch it on when you want to.

  • Live view All plans

See what is happening at the counter today, in the dashboard and in the app: stamps, redemptions and new cards, updated as you watch.

  • Milestone rewards All plans

A free croissant after five stamps, the coffee after ten: up to five rewards on one card keep guests motivated along the way.

GDPR No app for your guests, GDPR-compliant, servers in the EU.

A day with tapja

How it feels in everyday life.

A married couple comes on a Saturday in January. At the till they scan the QR code and the card lands in the wallet, with no app of their own. Your team taps the point in the staff app. In June things go quiet, so you send "Before noon: day ticket 30% off" to everyone above five points. The two are retired and come midweek, right into the hours when hardly anyone is there. At twelve points the card pulls the three free hours, redeemed right at the till.

When does a stamp card start to pay off?

Common questions about tapja for thermal spas & swimming pools.

Question not listed?
Write to us, a person will answer.

Does this compete with our season and annual passes?
No, it sits below them. Frequent swimmers take a season pass anyway. The loyalty card picks up the casual guests for whom that never paid off and who until now stayed anonymous as a day ticket.
Is this a digital multi-visit pass?
Yes, with the package card (from the Home Base plan): your guests buy ten entries upfront at your counter, for example, and the card in their wallet counts down with every visit. Payment happens at your place; tapja processes no money and keeps no stored value, only the units. Alongside it, the points card can count visits and unlock a reward at a threshold.
How do we fill the mornings?
With a benefits card: you create a benefit, give it a run time, a quota and a limit per guest. The database enforces that limit, not just the interface. The benefits card belongs to the larger plan.
We charge at turnstiles. Does it still work?
Yes. The point is awarded at the till before the guest goes through the turnstile, in the staff app or with no installation at all in the browser. Nothing changes on your gate system.
Do my guests need an app?
No, your guests need no app. The card lives in Apple or Google Wallet, already installed on every smartphone. No account, no password, just a one-off email confirmation.
Do my customers need an app?
No. The card lives right in Apple or Google Wallet. Both are already on the phone. No download, no login for your customers.
How does the card get onto the phone?
Via the QR code on the counter stand: scan once, "Add to Wallet," done. The card is on the phone in seconds.
Is it GDPR-compliant?
Yes, GDPR by design: data minimisation, servers in the EU and a separate marketing consent. From your guests you need a name and an email, nothing more.
