tapja

tapja for tanning salons

The card behind your counter is known only to you. That is not enough.

In a tanning salon the loyalty card usually sits as cardboard in a filing box. In the wallet it sits with the customer, updates itself and reaches them between visits too, with no app for your guests.

Sound familiar?

From frustration to fix.

The loyalty card sits in a filing box behind the counter.

In the wallet the customer carries it, always.

With nobody at the counter, card upkeep stops.

The balance updates itself on the card.

Between two visits you have no contact.

A message lands right on the lock screen.

How it works

Up and running in three steps.

  1. Design the card

Pick a card type, set your logo and colors, define the reward rule, for example "10 visits, one care product free.". The live preview shows instantly how the card looks in the wallet.

  2. Onboard customers

The customer scans the QR code at the counter and adds the card to their wallet with one tap. Done, no app for your guests.

  3. Collect & reward

One tap is all it takes: the balance updates automatically on the card, and when a reward is reached a wallet notification lands on the phone.

Example program

What your tanning salons program could look like.

10 visits, one care product free.

A stamp card for the wallet whose reward is deliberately a care product or a skin consultation, not more time on the bed.

New in tapja

Four things that take work off your hands.

  • More Google reviews from Home Base

After a redeemed reward or a number of visits you choose, the card asks happy guests for a review and takes them straight to your Google profile.

  • Your logo as the stamp All plans

Instead of a tick, the card stamps your logo or a symbol from your trade: coffee bean, scissors, pretzel.

  • Guests refer guests All plans

Your regulars share a personal code. Once the new guest actually visits, both get a bonus. Switch it on when you want to.

  • Milestone rewards All plans

A free croissant after five stamps, the coffee after ten: up to five rewards on one card keep guests motivated along the way.

GDPR No app for your guests, GDPR-compliant, servers in the EU.

A day with tapja

How it feels in everyday life.

A regular comes in on a Friday evening. At the counter she scans the QR code and the card is in her wallet seconds later, with no app of her own. Your team taps "stamp" in the staff app: 6 of 10. In February things go quiet, so you send a note about the new care range to everyone away for more than three weeks. She drops by and takes the advice. On the tenth stamp she gets a care product free, redeemed right at the counter.

Common questions about tapja for tanning salons.

Question not listed?
Write to us, a person will answer.

Why is the reward not an extra session?
Because a loyalty programme should not encourage more time on the bed. Care products, accessories or a skin consultation make better rewards. What you give out is your decision; this recommendation is a deliberate one.
Does this replace our multi-visit pass?
Both, with different cards. The paid ten-session card becomes a package card (from the Home Base plan): guests buy ten sessions upfront at your counter, for example, and the card in their wallet counts down. Payment happens at your place; tapja processes no money and keeps no stored value, only the units. The cardboard loyalty card in the filing box becomes the loyalty card described on this page.
Our counter is not always staffed. Does it still work?
Yes. Either your team stamps (in the staff app or with no installation at all in the browser) or the guest does it themselves: with self-stamping (from Favourite Spot) they hold their phone to an NFC stand at the entrance, and every tap creates a one-time signed proof. Limits such as one stamp per day still apply.
Do my customers need an app?
No, your guests need no app. The card lives in Apple or Google Wallet, already installed on every smartphone. No account, no password, just a one-off email confirmation.
What does this cost a small salon?
The free plan is free forever and covers up to 30 active cards, one programme and two staff accounts. Beyond that, Favourite Spot starts at €29 a month, cancellable monthly.
Do my customers need an app?
No. The card lives right in Apple or Google Wallet. Both are already on the phone. No download, no login for your customers.
How does the card get onto the phone?
Via the QR code on the counter stand: scan once, "Add to Wallet," done. The card is on the phone in seconds.
Is it GDPR-compliant?
Yes, GDPR by design: data minimisation, servers in the EU and a separate marketing consent. From your guests you need a name and an email, nothing more.
