tapja

tapja for tattoo studios

A tattoo is not a coffee. A stamp card would be a lie.

Months pass between two sessions, sometimes years. Instead of a counter that never fills, the benefits card carries real benefits with their own run time, in the wallet, with no app for your guests.

Sound familiar?

From frustration to fix.

A stamp card never fills at three appointments a year.

The benefits card counts nothing; it carries benefits that apply immediately.

After the appointment you hear nothing for years.

The card stays in the wallet and you stay reachable.

Aftercare products and touch-ups get forgotten.

Both sit on the card as a benefit, spelled out.

How it works

Up and running in three steps.

  1. Design the card

Pick a card type, set your logo and colors, define the reward rule, for example "Free touch-up in the first year, 15% on aftercare.". The live preview shows instantly how the card looks in the wallet.

  2. Onboard customers

The customer scans the QR code at the counter and adds the card to their wallet with one tap. Done, no app for your guests.

  3. Collect & reward

One tap is all it takes: the balance updates automatically on the card, and when a reward is reached a wallet notification lands on the phone.

Example program

What your tattoo & piercing studios program could look like.

Free touch-up in the first year, 15% on aftercare.

A benefits card for the wallet: two benefits with their own run time and a per-guest limit that the database enforces. No counter, no progress.

The right features

Features that fit tattoo & piercing studios.

Four building blocks that make your program work from day one.

Benefits instead of collecting

Each benefit with its own run time and quota.

Limit per guest

How often it can be redeemed is enforced by the database.

Wallet notice

"New benefits are here" reaches long-standing clients too.

Aftercare spelled out

The care note sits on the card, not on a slip of paper.

New in tapja

Four things that take work off your hands.

  • More Google reviews from Home Base

After a redeemed reward or a number of visits you choose, the card asks happy guests for a review and takes them straight to your Google profile.

  • Your logo as the stamp All plans

Instead of a tick, the card stamps your logo or a symbol from your trade: coffee bean, scissors, pretzel.

  • Guests refer guests All plans

Your regulars share a personal code. Once the new guest actually visits, both get a bonus. Switch it on when you want to.

  • Milestone rewards All plans

A free croissant after five stamps, the coffee after ten: up to five rewards on one card keep guests motivated along the way.

GDPR No app for your guests, GDPR-compliant, servers in the EU.

A day with tapja

How it feels in everyday life.

A client has a forearm piece done. Paying up, she scans the QR code at the counter and the card lands in the wallet, with no app of her own. Two benefits are spelled out on it: a free touch-up in the first year and 15% on aftercare. Six weeks later she buys ointment and uses the second benefit; your team redeems it at the counter. A second time is not possible, the limit holds. In spring you create new benefits and announce them; she gets in touch about her second piece.

When does a stamp card start to pay off?

Common questions about tapja for tattoo & piercing studios.

Question not listed?
Write to us, a person will answer.

Why not a stamp card?
Because it never fills here. Someone coming twice a year needs five years for a ten-stamp card, and that motivates nobody. The benefits card counts nothing and instead carries benefits that apply immediately.
What does the benefits card cost?
It belongs to the Home Base plan, so €59 a month, cancellable monthly. Stamp and points cards come with every plan, including the free one.
How do I stop a benefit being redeemed twice?
Through the per-guest limit: once in total, or per day, week or month. The database enforces it, not the interface: two terminals scanning the same guest at once cannot break the promise.
Are we even allowed to advertise tattoos?
The card is a loyalty instrument, not an advertising channel for third parties, and it addresses your existing clients. How you advertise your services remains your decision; tapja sets no content rules there.
What data do my clients have to give?
A name and an email, nothing more. The birthday is voluntary. The email is confirmed once; that is the protection against someone inventing cards to collect benefits.
Do my customers need an app?
No. The card lives right in Apple or Google Wallet. Both are already on the phone. No download, no login for your customers.
How does the card get onto the phone?
Via the QR code on the counter stand: scan once, "Add to Wallet," done. The card is on the phone in seconds.
Is it GDPR-compliant?
Yes, GDPR by design: data minimisation, servers in the EU and a separate marketing consent. From your guests you need a name and an email, nothing more.
