tapja

tapja for VR arcades

Anyone can try it once. Coming back is your business.

VR sells itself the first time. After that it goes quiet. A card in the wallet keeps the contact, rewards play time and fills the quiet hours, with no app for your guests.

Sound familiar?

From frustration to fix.

Many come out of curiosity and never again.

Points and a status level give a reason for the second visit.

Weekday afternoons the stations stand still.

A time-limited offer shifts visits into them.

Voucher buyers come once and disappear.

They get the card when they redeem, and stay reachable.

How it works

Up and running in three steps.

  1. Design the card

Pick a card type, set your logo and colors, define the reward rule, for example "A point per 10 minutes of play, 30 free minutes at 200 points.". The live preview shows instantly how the card looks in the wallet.

  2. Onboard customers

The customer scans the QR code at the counter and adds the card to their wallet with one tap. Done, no app for your guests.

  3. Collect & reward

One tap is all it takes: the balance updates automatically on the card, and when a reward is reached a wallet notification lands on the phone.

Example program

What your VR arcades program could look like.

A point per 10 minutes of play, 30 free minutes at 200 points.

A points card for the wallet that counts play time rather than visits, fair to long and short sessions alike. Plus an offer for the afternoons.

A day with tapja

How it feels in everyday life.

Two friends try VR for the first time and book 30 minutes. While paying they scan the QR code at the counter and the card lands in the wallet, with no app of their own. Your team books three points for the half hour in the staff app. Next time they bring two more people, because they saw the balance. In autumn you install a new game and send the notice to everyone above 50 points, on a Wednesday afternoon that would otherwise be dead. At 200 points, 30 minutes are on the house, redeemed right at the counter.

Common questions about tapja for VR arcades.

Question not listed?
Write to us, a person will answer.

Points per visit or per minute?
For VR usually per play time, because 15 minutes and two hours are worlds apart. You set the rule yourself and can change it later. Awarding by amount or by hand belongs to the larger plan; one point per visit works on every plan.
We work a lot with vouchers. Does that fit?
Yes, and it even solves a problem: voucher buyers are usually gone once they redeem. Hand out the card at exactly that moment, and the contact stays while the first point is already on it.
What about groups and childrens parties?
The accompanying adult gets the card, the children need none. For recurring parties that is the card sitting in the parents wallet, and the one you can reach in good time the following year.
Do my guests need an app?
No, your guests need no app. The card lives in Apple or Google Wallet, which is already installed on every smartphone. Your team awards the points in the staff app or right in the browser at the counter.
How do I stop someone awarding themselves points?
Only someone signed in to the staff app can award points, and every person has their own account with a PIN. Every entry appears in the activity log with time and name.
Do my customers need an app?
No. The card lives right in Apple or Google Wallet. Both are already on the phone. No download, no login for your customers.
How does the card get onto the phone?
Via the QR code on the counter stand: scan once, "Add to Wallet," done. The card is on the phone in seconds.
Is it GDPR-compliant?
Yes, GDPR by design: data minimisation, servers in the EU and a separate marketing consent. From your guests you need a name and an email, nothing more.
