tapja

tapja for yoga & pilates studios

Everything is decided after the trial class.

Many come once, enjoy it and never appear again. A card in the wallet holds the contact through the first weeks, when a habit is forming, with no app for your guests.

Sound familiar?

From frustration to fix.

After the trial class nobody comes back on their own.

The card is handed out in the trial class, and the contact stays.

Anyone without a contract stays anonymous to you.

Everyone who takes the card appears in your overview by name.

Morning classes are half empty.

An offer with its own run time shifts participants into them.

How it works

Up and running in three steps.

  1. Design the card

Pick a card type, set your logo and colors, define the reward rule, for example "A point per class, the 10th class free.". The live preview shows instantly how the card looks in the wallet.

  2. Onboard customers

The customer scans the QR code at the counter and adds the card to their wallet with one tap. Done, no app for your guests.

  3. Collect & reward

One tap is all it takes: the balance updates automatically on the card, and when a reward is reached a wallet notification lands on the phone.

Example program

What your yoga & pilates studios program could look like.

A point per class, the 10th class free.

A points card for the wallet for everyone without a contract. Plus a morning offer and a greeting for anyone who has been away.

New in tapja

Four things that take work off your hands.

  • Self-stamping at a stand from Favourite Spot

Guests collect the stamp themselves at a QR or NFC stand when nobody at the counter has a second.

  • Guests refer guests All plans

Your regulars share a personal code. Once the new guest actually visits, both get a bonus. Switch it on when you want to.

  • Live view All plans

See what is happening at the counter today, in the dashboard and in the app: stamps, redemptions and new cards, updated as you watch.

  • Milestone rewards All plans

A free croissant after five stamps, the coffee after ten: up to five rewards on one card keep guests motivated along the way.

GDPR No app for your guests, GDPR-compliant, servers in the EU.

A day with tapja

How it feels in everyday life.

A participant comes to a trial class. Afterwards she scans the QR code at reception, the card lands in the wallet with no app of her own, and the first point is already on it. Over the following weeks your team taps the point for each class in the staff app. After three weeks without a visit she automatically gets a friendly greeting, exactly at the moment when a new habit would otherwise break. At ten points the class is free, redeemed right at reception.

When does a stamp card start to pay off?

Two pages with the arithmetic: contribution margin per visit, monthly cost, and the number of extra visits at which the card pays for itself. In return for signing up to our emails; one click unsubscribes.

Common questions about tapja for yoga & pilates studios.

Question not listed?
Write to us, a person will answer.

We sell class passes. Does tapja cover those?
Yes, with the package card (from the Home Base plan): your guests buy ten classes upfront at your counter, for example, and the card in their wallet counts down with every visit. Payment happens at your place; tapja processes no money and keeps no stored value, only the units. Alongside it, the loyalty card can count classes attended and unlock a reward at a threshold.
Does this compete with our contracts?
No, it sits below them. Anyone coming twice a week takes a contract anyway. The card picks up the people who come irregularly, the ones you used to lose right after the trial class.
Can I award loyalty tiers?
Yes, with points and tiers like Bronze, Silver and Gold. Where the tiers start and what they are worth is up to you. Loyalty tiers are available from Home Base; points and rewards come with every plan.
Who awards the point, the teacher or reception?
Whoever you like. Every person has their own account with a PIN in the staff app; alternatively the counter runs with no installation at all right in the browser. Every point appears in the activity log with time and name.
What data do my participants have to give?
A name and an email, nothing more. The birthday is voluntary. The email is confirmed once; that is the protection against someone inventing cards to collect rewards.
Do my customers need an app?
No. The card lives right in Apple or Google Wallet. Both are already on the phone. No download, no login for your customers.
How does the card get onto the phone?
Via the QR code on the counter stand: scan once, "Add to Wallet," done. The card is on the phone in seconds.
Is it GDPR-compliant?
Yes, GDPR by design: data minimisation, servers in the EU and a separate marketing consent. From your guests you need a name and an email, nothing more.
