Automations
Triggers, caps and quiet hours for automated messages.
Triggers
Automations react to events: welcome (new card), reward available, card nearly full, birthday, moving up a status level, or winning back inactive customers.
That way every customer gets the right card update at the right moment, without you stepping in.
Cap
The cap limits how many messages a customer receives per day, per 7 and per 30 days. It applies to automations and manual campaigns together, so the two cannot add up.
Once a customer reaches the limit, further promotional messages are suppressed. Transactional updates (“reward available”, for instance) are not affected.
On top of that there are fixed upper limits from tapja that no business can exceed. They are shown right at the input fields (“At most X”). If we lower an upper limit, a higher setting is reduced to it automatically.
Quiet hours
Quiet hours define a window (at night, for example) in which no automated card updates are triggered. Messages wait until the quiet hours are over.
Independently of that, tapja has a fixed night window in which nothing is delivered at all, not even with “send now”. Your own quiet hours can go beyond it, but never below.
