Tapja

How it works

Three perspectives, one seamless flow.

Tapja has three sides: what your guest experiences, what happens at the counter, and what runs in the background for you. Here you see all three.

YOUR CARD

Your brand, your card.

You set the logo, colors and reward. Your guests see your place in the wallet — not a generic Tapja design.

  • Logo — Your logo appears at the top of every card.
  • Background color — Pick a color from our palette to match your brand.
  • Reward & goal — You define the tiers and rewards — stamps, points or membership.
  • Stamp goal — 6, 8, 10 stamps or more: you set the target.
  • Back of card — Address, opening hours and contact details go on the back.
Real Apple Wallet pass from Café Sonnig, labelled in German: logo top left, stamp count ("Stempel") 5 of 10 top right, name Max Mustermann and reward ("Prämie") a free coffee below, QR code with card number 231 at the bottom.
A real pass, a real customer design. Colours, logo and typeface come from the shop; Apple Wallet dictates the structure. From a German pilot business, so the labels are in German.

Within what Apple & Google Wallet allow — always clean and high-quality. Google Wallet looks slightly different from Apple Wallet.

    Get reminded

“Just 1 stamp to go” lands right on the lock screen.

  5. 5

    Redeem the reward

The cycle

It all fits together.

The three perspectives aren’t islands, they’re a cycle: guest scans, counter stamps, the dashboard shows it, automation reminds, and your guest comes back.

No POS needed

No POS system needed. Works with whatever you already have.

One of the most common objections: “Do we have to switch our POS for this?” No. Tapja runs completely independently of your POS system, whether a modern cloud register, an old terminal, or none at all.

You give stamps through the staff app: a smartphone or tablet is enough. No expensive terminal, no integration, no IT project. A tablet next to the counter, done. The guest shows their card, your team scans it, and the stamp is on in under 3 seconds.

And if there is already a barcode scanner at your till: instead of a QR code the wallet card can display Code 128, PDF417 or Aztec. Then your existing scanner reads the card directly, with no second device.

What you need

That’s really all it takes.

Data ownership & outlook

Your data is yours, and Tapja grows with you.

Available now

Full data ownership: export your entire customer list as a CSV anytime, no lock-in, no data loss when you switch. What you build with Tapja stays yours.

Outlook
Soon

POS connection (optional)

Points automatically per euro spent or whole orders, for anyone who wants to connect Tapja to their POS or payment. Voluntary; without it, everything keeps working as usual.

Individual

Bridge to existing loyalty apps

Already have your own loyalty app? Tapja can complement or replace it: guests who don’t want to install an app use the wallet card; app users also get the card on their lock screen. So you lose no one to the download hurdle. We assess each connection individually per system, especially worthwhile for multiple locations (chains).

Soon

More integrations

We’re rolling out connections to common tools step by step.

FAQ

Questions about the flow.

Do my guests need an app?
No. The card lives in Apple/Google Wallet, which is already on the phone.
What device does my team need to stamp?
An existing smartphone or tablet is enough. The staff app is available for iOS and Android.
Do I need a POS system or an integration?
No. Tapja runs independently of your POS, whether a cloud register, an old terminal or none at all. A smartphone or tablet for stamping is enough. An optional POS connection for automatic points is planned.
Can I export my customer data?
Yes. You can export your entire customer list as a CSV anytime, no lock-in, no data loss when you switch. What you build with Tapja stays yours.
How does Tapja prevent cheating?
PIN protection on redemption, a cooldown against double stamps and a complete audit log.
How long does setup take?
About 10 minutes: design the card, place the stand, get going.
Can my guests refer other guests?
Yes, optionally. Every guest can get their own referral code. When the referred person actually shows up for the first time and gets stamped, both receive the bonus you defined. You also decide how many referrals a guest may redeem per month and how many visits of their own they need before they can refer. The programme is switched off by default.
How do I reach support?
Right from your account: you open a ticket and see the whole thread including replies in one place, no digging through your inbox. Email still works too, of course.

See it in your shop, in 10 minutes.
