Example view for Apple Wallet, Google Wallet looks slightly different.
From the sign on your counter to a finished card takes a few seconds.
The Camera app reads the QR code directly, no extra scanner needed. Or your guest holds their iPhone against the NFC tag on the counter.
Camera app is enoughA lightweight page shows a preview of your card. Name and birthday are optional — the card works fully anonymously too.
optional detailsOne tap on the black Apple button. iOS shows the pass, a second tap on “Add” files it away.
one tapThe card now lives in the Wallet app. Next visit, your guest pulls it up like a boarding pass, your team scans, the stamp lands.
no loginFor everyone who wants the detail — or has to explain it to their IT.
Apple Wallet can surface a card on the lock screen when it is currently relevant. Plenty of vendors make a lot of noise about this channel, so here is the sober version.
For context Worth being clear about: location-based lock screen notices are driven by iOS itself, using the places stored in the pass. That is not a push from Tapja and it cannot be scheduled like an ad slot — your guest decides in iOS settings whether they want it at all.
And where the platform deliberately draws a line. Both belong in the picture.
Logo, colours and reward text are yours. Apple sets the base layout, which is why the card always looks native.
New stamp, new status: the card in the wallet follows along without anyone doing anything.
The card reaches the watch with no extra step. At the counter that is often quicker than the phone.
No login, no password, no app. On request the card stays completely anonymous.
Apple Wallet is not a newsletter channel. Notices follow the card state, not a campaign calendar — use email for promotions.
Typeface, arrangement and card shape come from PassKit. Anyone needing total design freedom needs their own app, with everything that entails.
